Days 10-12: Puno and Lake Titicaca
Dawn over Lake Titicaca. At an elevation of 12,459 feet, Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world. It covers an area of 3,205 square miles, making it the second-largest freshwater lake in South America. It straddles the border between Peru and Bolivia.
